Default First trip for new rigging rods

Just got a new set of Jenko Slab City 14 footers. Met up with an old pharmacy buddy to try them out. Put in at Bucksaw and ran up Cedar. Idled actually I hate going back there with all the stumps. We fished 8 to 12 down in 12 to 18 fow. Ended up with 13 keepers and a bunch of shorts. Minnow on 1/16 Oz head under 1/2 Oz sinker. Kind of cold and windy at times but overall a good day.Name: IMG_1663.jpg

I really liked the Jenko rods. No problem swinging the fish. I upgraded from 12 footers so there was a bit of adjustment to get the right amount of line out for the swing. What looks right for a 12 foot rod just makes you look stupid with the longer rod.

They are great rods, I have the same ones. If you are thinking about upgrading/getting your first set of rods, I dont think you will be disappointed with Jenkos
