Thread: Wet day on Pomme De Terre

I got to Pomme about 11 oclock sat. Had to wear rain gear all day. Boated 21 fish crappie bass and my first walleye 21in did not know how long it had to be so put it back. Had 11 keeper 9.5 to 11in. Some of them would just swim up and hold the jig and some of them would hit it so hard like it was mad at it. All and all it was a good day. Wet but good. Any day I can fish is a good day.

Sounds like you had fun even though the weather didnt cooperate,thats a shame abut the walleye those are the best eating fish around.

Good Day bait eating better be glad you went north it was bad south did not do good at all sat. or sun. on table rock fished cape fair james river. wooley creek did lousy so windy taking today off start all over tues

Beagle Man I growed up in southeast mo fishing the mississippi river for crappie and bluecats moved over here 8 years ago it took some time to learn to fish the lakes. But I never could catch very many on table rock I guess the water is to clear for me or something.
