Thread: Proof that Slugo does exsist

[B]Most of you ,even if you were at camp might not get this so let me explain. This guy wandered into our campsite late Friday night claiming to have heard a voice of some guy named Ralph that he knew. Well there was alot of new people coming and going at the time so some of the guys that had a little more than others to drink just assumed he was one of us, and so Slugo stayed for a couple of hours and drank a whole lot of beer from our coolers. As the night went on and the beer (and other stuff) was consumed, this guy actually convinced a few of our drunk members (not saying any names but you know who you are) that he was a member of crappie.com. When asked what his username was he replied " whats a user name " but after being pressed he made up the name Slugo. Then he was asked what forum he was on, his reply "what's a forum" needless to say this guy probably didn't even know what a computer was but he somehow convinced some of our guys that he was indeed one of us so they showed him plenty of hospitality by giving him plenty of free beer (enough thet he ended up in (yes I said in) the campfire before leaving around 3 a.m) Don't worry Slugo's are fire proof when they have that much beer in them.[/B

I want to take this time to thank everyone from crappie camp this weekend. My dad and myself had a great time meeting everyone. I knew this was a special group of people, now my dad knews just how special they are.

Everyone made an old man feel special this weekend and my sisters and myself want to thank you all.

Hey, no backrub or goodnight kiss? I thought you guys were hardcore. I was expecting another night of FREE BEER, where did you guys go? I walked out of my trailer at 8 ready to tie on another one and thank Teresa for the fish when I noticed I was by myself somewhere in MO. Anyways thanks for the fish and the FREE beer and OH YEA, nice to meet ya and drive safe. Anyways, the Welker Team is back on the road staying at our favorite campsite. God Bless the U.S.A and Sam Walton in Monett, MO. Sunday when I woke to a EMPTY campground I went back inside to watch a fishing show on Beaver Lake AR, when the guy pulled in a couple 20 lb striper and I looked at the map and saw it was in my way we immediatley started preperations to leave. Hey Jamie, Teresa and Andrew and Fuzz and The Guy that was selling slabs and all the rest of you gravel road drivin crappie heads that were so nice to me and my family, Thanks again and my boys wanted to say Hi to those of you they met, especially Andrew. By the way, anyone fish striper on Beaver Lake? Any advice would be great. I'm now an official member and will be checking on you guys often. Good luck good friends and good CRAPPIE fishin.

I should have checked this post first and it would have answered my question,i was wondering if you were still around.Everyone got tired of the cold,wind and over consumption of alcohol and started packing up sat evening.I was out sun mornin and seen you go out i tried to wave you over to show you some spots but you had that big ole crestliner cookin when you passed.You have a great family Mike your boys were good kids my boy sure had fun with them,drop in and check on us once in a while have fun and be safe.

I knew it was time to go to bed when a guy falls in the fire and can't get out of it. I knew what I was seeing but it wasn't registering to my brain to get him out of the fire. All I could think was, this could be bad.

All i could think was if this mooch burns up we will have a bunch more beer and a warmer fire:Dwhatcha think Dunc?
