Thread: Countdown is on!!!

Well, at 5 am 7-30-10 the family will be headed south for Arkansas. We stop first at Greeson Lake on Sat. Then on to DeGray Lake Sunday evening, we stay there until Wed. Then we will either head back to Greeson or who knows where? We may drive over the line into Oklahoma and stop at Eufalla or Grand Lake? Or we may just drive back to good ol'e Missouri and head for Truman to finish out the week?

I can not wait, starting to lose sleep over it now. Been getting everything all ready to head out. The boat is almost done and packed everything I thought I might need?

I will update daily on here. Hopefully I will have good news with some slab pics to post? My goal on Greeson is a Slab Crappie, Smallmouth, Striper. In that order. I do not look forward to the heat that we will face. But it is what it is. We either go now or for the 3rd year in a row we will stay home due to sports etc. Football coach gave us this week off. :D:D Still better than working no matter what we catch. Lee

Lee, good luck. If you make it to Eufaula dip some trees after the sun comes up and is nice and bright, we just couldn’t ever see the sun when I was there. Catch a BUNCH!
