If so how'd you do? 1st place weighed in 10 fish at just over 12 lbs. Spanked 2nd place by over 4 lbs. Would like to know how he was catching them. 96 teams. We found a big concentration of fish at about 12:30 but had to quit by 2 p.m. I think we finished around 13th place.

    Slab,

Didn't fish it but I can almost guarantee the winners came out of the Middle Fork and I'm guessing shallow fish.

Not a bad sack, but I'm surprised it wasn't closer.

    Smile Big Fish

MIDDLEFORK WAS TOO MUDDY FOR US TRIED IT BUT MOVED BACK TO SOUTHFORK. ONLY CAUGHT 14 FISH. SEVERAL CAUGHT LOTS OF FISH (SMALL) DOWN THE LAKE WHERE THE WATER WAS CLEAR. WINNER SAID FISH CAME OUT OF 2FOW IN BUSHES AND WILLOWS. OVERALL THEM BOYS PUT ON A GREAT FUN TOURNEY YOU OUGHT TO TRY AND MAKE NEXT YEAR!

our two biggest fish came from under green willows also. And I had also heard the winners fish came from the shallows.

Sparky, 3 fingers is where we found a good concentration of fish. Unfortunately we ran out of time, but the time that we were there we filled our limit and culled two more from earlier in the day. Lots of folks ran away from the north fork because it was so muddy, but the back of those coves were just as clear as the main lake.

I figured as fast as the northfork muddied up alot of those fish went for the closest clean water rather than back down to the main lake. I may be wrong but it sure seemed like it.
