Thread: Smithville at Little Platte marina

Spent about 4 hrs. on the ice today in little platte marina cove with nothing but 4 or 5 dinks between the 3 of us. The good news is that there was plenty of ice. About 6 to 8 inches. Ran into a real nice fella with a gas powered auger (who didnt charge us for drilling). We all fished together and had as good a time as you can with no action.

Those guys with the gas augers are sent to the ice by God.
We were drilling holes with a hand auger though 3 feet of ice and a couple guys came out drilled their holes and offered to drill us a couple!

to bad on the not catching a limit, but hey you were out, better luck next time.
