Default Couple of lakes near Fayette

Earl (my local fishing buddy) was telling me about a couple of lakes near Fayette.
Does anyone know the name of them and where they are?
I'm sure they are managed by MDC.

Looks like there is a Star lake and a Davis Lake about 15-20 miles north west of Fayette lake.
I just KNOW it was a big one!!!

The lakes are called DC Rogers Lakes. There are two of them. I forgot what road they are on, but I fished them every so often when I lived in Columbia.

Quinn, I am the one TO count on in this dept. Earl is correct. There are several near Fayette. Folks call them by all different names though so is confusing. DC Rogers is the biggest. Co-worker and her hubby fish it often and catch lots of bass, crappie and catfish. I'm going to include some links to help you.

Fayette New City Lake Dam in Howard County ,Missouri

This is Peter's Lake or called New City Lake.

There is also a very small lake/pond called Rickett's Lake and it's off of Highway 5 and Shields Street. Shields turns into gravel and it's on the left a mile or so out of town.

I can give you directions if you need them.

Beagle, Fayette is the county seat of Howard County in north central MO. I work in Fayette and live north of Glasgow (all in Ho. Co.)

Frosty both Star Lake and Davis Lake are privately owned. You have to have permission to fish them. DC Rogers, Peters and Ricketts are all public.

I knew you wouldn't let me down Novice.
I talked to Earl today and he said they are used for a power plant.
Thanks for the links, I will look at them then get back with Earl, I didn't think to ask him what roads they were on to get there.
