    Yea what they said, I have pulled many hooks strait with the 6lb Mr. Crappie.
    I have used allot of 4lb spider wire mono because it was on clearance at Wal-mart and have been pretty happy with it.

    I ditto that as well. That 4# or lighter theory may have it's place in other areas but isn't necessary in the waters in these parts.

    I have also been using the yellow 6# Vicious line lately and like it pretty well. Seems to be a little easier to see by these old tired eyes.

    I use Power Pro high vis braid (4 pound diameter) on my long poles I use for vertical jigging. On my shorter rods I use with slip bobbers or casting, I use 8 pound test high vis Mr. Crappie mono.

    i am with oss and bwillaub for 90 percent of my fisning for casting i use 6 lb golden stern thats my nickels worth

    Just wondering about the braid I was told one time its hard on the eyes and tip of the rod has anyone found this to be true.

    Do you have any problem get a lite jig down in windy conditions with braid?
