If it is just the tip, I get the repair kit at Wal-mart for about $5. it has 3 different sizes and the glue.

Burtons Bait in Smithville has tip guides assortment and will replace for you. Last I had done was $5. I think. I thought was reasonable.

I'm not too sure about a Walmart tip on a $250 rod...

    Fuji Alconite tip....

Out of curiousity.. Is there a site out that rates the better guides from fair to best?...

If it is a Loomis rod, call 1-800-GLoomis. They will send you a new rod and a prepaid tag for sending the old one back.

$250 for a rod and it still breaks? I would think it has a life time warranty.
