    Smile Truman/LOZ Trip.

First off I want to thank Drfish for puting up with me all week. Those of you who know me well, know that can be a test of endurance. Jim, you were a perfect host and I had a blast. One of the most fun and enjoyable fishing trips I've ever had. Hope we can do it again sometime. Man we caught some good fish under adverse conditions. It was also good fishing with Bugs and Bob. These two guys are the best and are right at the top of my fishing buddy list along with drfish, Beagle,Talltimber and panhandlin from the Mo board. Thanks again Jamie for puting us on some HOT dock shooting. That stuff gets addictive. Here's a few pics: First is Bugman with a 1.9 thumper he got Tuesday dock shooting, next is bwillaub dipping trees with us Wednesday morning after a short nights sleep and braving the wind, rain and cold to fish with us. It was great to see you again brother Bob. Then the next pic is some drifter that Drfish picked up on the side of the highway and felt sorry for him so he took him fishing. Next is drfish on Wednesday morning dipping trees in the rain. The last one is Jim with a mess of fishi we caught with bugs Tuesday on LOZ

Thanks for coming up, Speck. Man that was fun. Miserable condtions, pretty slow bite, but Bob put us on some dandies. Thanks, Bob. It's always great fishing with you. Went for a road trip to LOZ and our favorite site moderator Bugs put us on 'em - Tuesday and Thursday. Thanks Bugs. You're one hell of a guide on what could be the best crappie lake in the state. (had to say "could", Truman's got ahold of me.) Speck, you had us eating like kings and were great company when it drizzled and drizzled and rained and then drizzled some more. Those raindrops felt like bullets. Didn't get any time around a campfire, but it sure felt good to be in the camper where it was dry. Boy does my boat stink. Let's go again soon.

Glad you had a great week even in some nasty weather conditions. Sorry I could not make it down to fish or shoot the **** with you. Work has been crazy lately and I am fixing to go back in for another 11 or 12 hours tonight. Some nice fish were caught from the looks of the pictures. I even seen a smile or two in the nasty cold and rain so it had to be a good time with friends.
