Dock Shooting Pole ?
What kind of poles do you guys dock shoot with? I'm thinking about getting a 5.5 ft BNM sharpshooter. My cousin shoots with his G-Loomis. That a little too much money for me to be bending in an U all the time.

I use a 6' med. action Berkley pole and Bugs uses a Berkley cherrywood in the 6' med. action. Its all what you get use to. It does not take a expensive pole to shoot docks. I have a 5'6" I use also for tight spots, but again its what you get use to. I've seen those BNM sharpshooter poles and I would guess they would work great. Tony from Ozark rods is coming out with a dock shooting rod but I don't know when it will be available.

I have a 5'6" medium action Berkley spinning rod that I use for dock shooting and casting light jigs.
