headed back to springfield for a ram mount, couldnt get it to mount safe the other ways I tried, boat is smaller than depth/sonar unit.

hope this rain last another day or two, dont like to work in the barn in pretty weather, up date later.

Maybe you should have got the HDS 10 so you could see it Beagle. Either way 8 or 7 it will make you a very nice unit. The ram mounts are the best way to go. I love the one in the front of my boat. I can move it down so I can see it under my spider rigging racks and back up for normal tree dipping. They are expensive but worth every penny.

There are high. I am still debating on what unit I want or at least which one my tight ass is willing to pay for.

Sam bought the new one we got for our boat. I like it real well. I think it was about $70.00 bucks.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'

We've been buying most of or electronic related items at Marine Repair Center here in Springfield. They are some really good guys and the knowledge they have is unreal.
