Default Truman Wind in our Sails 11-8-09

Launched out of Bucksaw Sunday morning went up river to Otter, the first tree we hit pulled 3 fish that looked as if they were cloned from that tree. All three were 1lb 0oz. Picked up another 11in fish from the next tree and ran into bwillaub. Then came the wind, so we went up river a little ways to a bluff that blocked that South wind and fished a small cut there where bwillaub added a passenger. Caught a few of 10 1/2in fish there before heading back to Cedar Creek. Caught another two nice fish there before the wind finally won. Hopefully the wind forecast will be kind to us one weekend soon and we'll try our luck again. Tried to load pic but file size was too large not that the fish were:D 9 to 10ft down in 12 to 15 FOW blk/char, blue/wht, wht/char. Ok I figured out how to alter the file size so here you go.

That wind was pretty nasty. It's always good to get out on the water tho. It was good to see you guys again. Glad to see you catching a few.

Thanks, that wind really picked up quick. It looked like we were in for a pretty good day but the wind just wouldn't let us stay on them.

Can't complain about air temp, but the wind was another story

    Nice job and congrats.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, rather to skid in sideways, body used up and totally worn out screaming 'WOO~HOO what a ride!'
