Thread: Smithville

Fished Smithville Saturday(9/5) and Monday(9/7). Monday fished camp branch, caught a lot of fish but only two that were keepers. Monday went north of W ramp and had a better day. We had 16 keepers with 3 over 12 inches and the rest were 10's. Blue/White jigs worked the best on Monday and fish were in 24 fow about 12 ft down.

I went out this morning just to run the boat.Hadn't ran it for a while decided to stop at w bridge for a couple minutes caught about twenty . 10 of which was keepers most over 10 inch. blue and white and orange and chartruse. I heard they shut down the overflow this morning , fishing should get better again. Good luck everyone. Dave
