Thread: Smithville Update

Anyone have a fishing report for Smithville? I see on the ACOE website, they are still letting the water out.

Been busy drywalling the basement-did take the dog out for a walk along the lake.Its dropping fast,shallow points have about 10 feet of mud!
They are running 1,200 cfs...thats a lot~they got 2-3 feet more to go.

The Corps dropped the out flow rate to 600 cfs. Half of what it was. We are only a foot or so high and it should be down to normal in a week or so without a bunch more rain. I expect fishing to improve this week and will try and get out a couple times myself. Good luck
