    Default Odesa City Lake?

    All,
My uncle and I have been searching for other fishing spots near KCMO.

Recently we heard there was a city lake in Odesa - Is this true?
    Any fish it yet?
Any special permit requirements? (city permit)
How do I get to it from Blue Springs MO or 70 eastbound.

    Thanks
    Steve

get off the odessa exit (hwy 131 i believe) go through town, a mile or so. take a right on U hwy right as you get through town. drive a few mile's there will be a 90 right turn you come to take a left on the gravel road right there. it's at the top of the hill. 2 buck's to launch i think it's an honor system...fished there several time's. there are lot of 14 incher's in there but have'nt spent enough time on the lake to give any advice just that it's worthy of putting some time in. good luck sorry not more help but can tell you there are lot's of crappie in there with low fishing pressure.
why do today what you can put off til tomorrow, go fishing instead!!!

Is it TM only, Jeffie? I've considered taking the little boat out there and giving it a try.

I bet if you sweet talk him a little.......Chatt will rig up an awning of some sort for you to fish under at Toronto. Maybe a "beaglebrella"?

The lake shows up (on my computer) with the lake just below the cross hair. Once there just zoom in and pan around to figure it out.
