Thread: Wapp reports

Fished upper lake Friday, kept seven keepers(four of them pretty good fish) and two cats, had maybe six or eight throwbacks. Water temps 82-84, 5-7 fow, 3-4 feet deep, bit almost every time I marked a decent sized shad ball. wh/char and blue/wh, tipped w/ a minnow.

Saturday I went with speckhunter, not one keeper(several small fish), one cat(with eggs). Fished the channel, shallow, and way up river as well, slow going. Speck did have a double-double on white bass, that was pretty cool. Good trip, not so good catching. Water's a little stained up there.

I had a great time as usual Brad! Four white bass at one time on 2 poles was a first for me but sure was fun. It aint always about the catchin.

Speck I went saturday also, didn't do to good had 6 keepers,caught about 20 or so, had fun tho. Have to go to Cape next Monday (13th) for back surgery, I might be out of the water for awhile after that so I'm going to try and get a few days in this week...

Took my brother in-law fishin Sat morning. He had never been crappie fishin before. We spider rigged along the main channel near possum. Caught 42 fish in 2 hours but only 4 keepers. We didnt fill the cooler but he had a blast.

I fished Friday morning as well. I ended up with 5 keepers and a bunch of throw backs. I fished close by the grave stone.
