    Default Great July 4th

Mrs JJ and I spent the July 4th weekend on Truman. Fishing Friday was a little tough - we fished new areas and that is always difficult but we ended up with 20 or so....sorry no picture. Sat the 4th - the lake traffic was CRAZY - but we still ended up with 24 - the biggest 7 weighed a little over a lb ea with the biggest being 14 1/2 in and 1.5 lb - we couldn't get the jig bite going so we caught most of them on minnows 10 - 12 ft deep.

Nice catch! Parked right next to you Saturday at Bucksaw ramp, but didn't see y'all on the water. Apparently you guys chose to fish where the fish were.
Teach your kids to hunt and fish and you won't have to hunt for your kids !!
