Thread: Fall Camp

when and where, it's not to early to start talking it up, I would like to not have it to late in the year. so what does everyone think. lets hear it.

I would like to get a date also. I have 13 Vacation days to burn up buy the middle of Sept.

A Date Soon Would Help....... Going Crappie Hunting Some About Then......

I belive it is going to be on LOZ. So I would say the guy who says it is the best lake in the state and the 2nd best lake in the country will be heading it up. I will say now that it is a lot of work. I am a little far away to be much help but will in any way that I can. May need some of the locals to pitch in with advice on when it will be best and which arm of the lake to be on. Can't wait never fished LOZ other than below Truman dam.

i think the campground off hiway 5 by laurie would be a great place not far from grovis arm and all coves in between are good crappie cove
if you have a small boat you can fish the coves around the campground and stay off the big water and still be in good crappie water
when? any time after labor day
who ever heads it up i will help all i can

Is this open to any CDC memebers? If you all are doing it at LOZ, you can more than likely count me in. Just pick the date.

We would love to try to attend this year, and meet all the great people on this site. Would like to see it later than earlier in Sept, maybe the hot weatherwill ease off by then. Maybe weekend of 19-20 or 26-27????? Dont knowmuch about LOZ but I am sure there are many that do.

I'm in, just name the time and place, I also am a ways away but will help all that i can.

My vote would be any weekend EXCEPT the 19/20. Just my $.02
