    Default Windsor Crossing Today

Took the "better half" and 5 yr old grandson to Windsor Crossing this morning. We had a great time till the nasty weather came up. We got on the water around 7:30 and I took them back to the ramp at 9:30 due to bad weather moving in. I stayed and fished a while longer, 11:30. The rain and rumbles drove me from the water. We had 22 keepers and a hundred dinks. I caught some quality fish on the flat just below Brush Creek dipping cedars and hardwoods after taking them to the ramp. 7 fish over 14". Most of the bigger fish came from the shallower water....10 - 18 ft.....fishing 8 - 10 ft down. All fish caught on Blue/Pearl and Blue/Chart Slab Busters. Wife says she had a great time and wants to do it more. :D Grandson's smile never left his face. He loved it. Wish we had brought the camera along. Next time for sure.

Prayers for your wife going up.

Good job on taking the family Bob.
