welcome back, not sure i have seen much about wappapello on here but there have been a lot of other info on several other lake's...good luck, iv'e never fished there but it is on my list of place's to fish alone with a big list of other's

I've been over there a few times this summer, but haven't done much. That's not to say that you couldn't. I tend to be snakebit a lot.

I have heard of a few being caught occasionally but, again, I wasn't one of them. Two or three keepers out ten to fifteen caught per trip. I caught fish on jigs, vert. and two pole trolling, in 5 to 18 FOW, from 4 to 12 feet deep depending on where I was, and what day it was. That's all I got... Minnows might be better?

It's been a week or so since I've been on the lake, but my boss goes every weekend and has been doing pretty good up in lost creek and around Buffalo cove. I would have gone this morning but I'm on my way to Joplin for the H.A.M.B Drags.

Thanks for the Imfo.I found last night that there is a tournament today.Maybe more info after the tournament lol.
