Could that possibly be the Otter Creek area?

Default fishing bucksaw

Hey everyone, I have never fished bucksaw in all the years that I have fished truman but it is really pulling at my curiosity strings I was wondering if anyone could give me some good tips about bucksaw and a few general areas? You dont need to give me the exact tree but I have heard bucksaw is a great place to fish. I fish fairfield mast of the time just looking for a different view of scenery..The help would be great! Thanks!! I heard its hard to get around bucksaw, lots of trees in the way?

Yep lots of trees, what is worse is that there are a lot more broke off at the normal water level, with the lake 2' high that means there are lots more trees that you can't see. But get a good lake map and learn where the channel is and take your time you'll be ok. This year I have been fishing mostly from Cedar creek to G-14 East and if you go west I like from Pretty Bob creek to Otter creek. Lots of creeks, flats, points, tree rows, channels, bluffs, lots of fish and plenty of room, come on over. Good luck!

HEB, Bucksaw is hard to beat unless you go to Miss., Kansas, or Oklahoma. There are few places that aren't holding some fish this time of the year. Up-river and down-river both are good choices. Just look for trees in 15 to 20 feet of water and start dipping. The fish are usually found 8 to 12 feet down. Black/Chart. and Blue/Pearl jigs are hard to beat. Good luck.
