Just talked to Don Don and he had 2 keepers 14" out of Sardis

Satdoc had 3 keepers at Enid with 1 16.5"

Is DonDon trying out the cranks?

yep, he is fishing cranks, finally got him deep enough and he is catching some keepers now.

Cool, glad he made it work. He didn't mention a color did he? (just curious, given his initial skepticism of the "pink" bandits)

Just talked to several of them. Sounds like they have them patterned out pretty good now.

Was he near the bridge ?

Just got a text from Patrick, said the fishing was "ok". That ought to be enough for some folks catch a few on cranks and get the feel for it. Why aren't you fishin' rip?

Stopped fishing at 2 with 10 keepers longest 16.5 at Enid. JUst hope that they do as well tomorrow with paying customers! :D

Cranked sardis monday - Wednesday this week and wore em out. Even got the wife fishing; she usually just sleeps. Caught 19 Mon. Evening, 40 on Tues., and caught 25 on Wed. before the weather rolled in. Didn't fish thursday due to the sun burn that has blisters on it now. Caught 3 fish over 16", 9 15", and rest were 12 1/2" or better. Threw back everything under 12 1/2". Caught a ton of stripped bass and Catfish???? with them. There are some fish in their summer patterns already. Had a great time, and Im glad the wife enjoyed herself. She caught all of the 16" crappie.....trip was priceless!!
