Has the water got them screwed up or can they be caught? I was either going there or maybe Reelfoot this weekend.
Give the cutoff 2 more weeks...barring another rise of the river...and the pickins will be great for 1 to 1-1/2 pounder bream. Right now the water is too high. The fish have WAY too much water to roam around in. 1 and 2 pound catfish almost jump in the boat right now...taking almost ANY bait.

Thanks for the info. So where on the Memphis gage would be a good time to come, or just come in 2 weeks if it doesn't rise anymore? I've been there once before when the water was high. I got lost on some of the old logging roads:D. Had to keep listening for barges to find my way back out.
Hey speaking of Tunica, I think the Shriner's are having their annual crappie tournament over there this weekend. Does anybody know for sure if that's this weekend? They put on a really nice tournament over there last year. Lots of door prizes and a good payout.

Hey SBC, how are you catching those catfish? I don't really care if its a catfish, bream, or crappie, its been so long since I caught a fish, anything tugging on a line would be nice.:D
I went there looking for specks and gills, using jig/minnows and crickets. Nothing hit the crickets but cats, biggest was 6 lbs. two on minnows. I even caught a 2 pounder on a black/orange jig. Found ONE skinny crappie and baby bream on crickets.
Little blues and channels were just inside and outside the tree line directly across the lake from the ramps, 6' deep in 8-12 FOW. Lotta fun on ultralights!
