Thread: Lakeview Today.

Well folks I'm a happy camper. I fished Lakeview this morning caught 21 fish, a mix of crappie, catfish, drum, and hybrid bass. Had only 10 keepers, but had much needed fun. Hope everyone had a good day also. Would like to know how everyone did today and where you fished.

I got to the lake around 8:30am and left just as the storm blew across the lake. I had 4 large crappie and a dozen bluegills. Each bluegill weighs at least 1.5 lbs. They are huge...

One 2 lb catfish.

All on crickets.. All over the lake.

Nice catch River. I caught one crappie 17 inches, 1 crappie 14 1/2 inches, and 1 crappie 11 inches, a 3lb. drum and a 2 3/4 lb. drum. The catfish was 1 1/2lbs. and a few small crappie. 4 small hybrid bass. All on minnows. It was alot of fun. I needed a fairly good day after the dry spell I've had. LOL.

I am probably going to fish Lakeview tomorrow I just may give your crickets a try. I fished lake Poinsett yesterday and caught about 30 bluegill on crickets with a flyrod it was a hoot.

Where is lake Poinsett? I need to exercise my flyrod too :D

It's located in Harrisburg, AR. About 20min south of Jonesboro

anyone doing any bass fishing at Lakeview? I would like to but don't know anything about the lake.
