    Default Too Quiet

Fish are biting somewhere.......if you can get out of the wind lately. It has gotten too quiet on here with some well known fishermen. Sardis was great two weeks ago....about the last time the wind didn't blow.

For me at least, it's been hard to find more than 4 or 5 at Enid with the cork and minnow, so I've spent the last 3 hours getting my trolling poles ready for Enid this weekend. I may get blown around a little but I gonna try to put some meat in the freezer. Haven't heard much about about Sardis, but I can only imagine it's time to troll!:D

    CYA on the lake!

Actually, me and the Grenada boys took all the fish out of Grenada back in March. But the good news is, we trailered them up to Enid and let them go. Enid should be on fire this year. :D

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

Actually, a buddy of mine said they caught all of those fish we let go in Enid, and took half to the Ms river, and the other half to the waterway...go there instead...:D

My lakes not doing any good. Went to Bee Sunday after we had 6" of rain. Lake was up about 4 feet and getting stained. Caught a few in 12fow on the bottom. All we need is some stable water and no wind.

Went out to Okatibbee for about 5 hrs. this morning and this is 18 we brought home, threw about a dozen keepers back, all I wanted to clean. Had about 4-5 14"ers, no real big ones. Have a family cooking Monday and needed a few more for the fry. Started up in 7 FOW where I had left them Monday but it was slow pickings so we moved deeper and found some in 10-14 FOW. Rainbow Trout (green/clear) was a good color altho Wayne made me put on a swimbait we got at WM, don't remember the name, green top/yellow belly with black stripes, don't know why they put such small hooks in those things. 1 big male with color, a few small black crappie too.
