Default Those fairly new C & C trolling rods

Any one been spider-rigging with these rods and can pass on a little info on performance. I any looking to get 2 more spider-rigging rods when my check comes. I am using B&M BGJP's now and want a couple of 12'ers. I like the light tip action as I can seem to see the bite better than with my WM's pros but do like them best for holding in your hand, love the feel of cork and IM8. Old age is working on my eyesight. Wal-mart has the BGJP122 but will have to order the C&C's from somewhere so I have not been able to feel one.

Steve, I was holding back hoping some folks with more info would chime in -
but since not much talking, I'll add this :

I don't have any C&C's, but some buddies do, and they seem to like the
Pro Staff trollers better from what I've seen...
but they are using 1 ounce and up weights too.

But if you're WANTING a lighter tip, I think you might just like the
    ones you asked about. Jeff

Looks like the pro staff's are more for heavy weights from what I read on B&M web site which is not what I want them for, maybe I will just get a couple of the 12' BGJP's.

I would try one of the Pro Staff Trollers at least. They are for heavier weights but i troll 1/8 oz jigs with them also. You can detect the lightest of bites. They have the backbone needed to get a big crappie in the boat without running for the net. Don't know personally about the C&C's but I looked at them before buying my second set of Pro Staff's and didn't like the flemsy tip... Just my opinion.

My problem is that the only ones around here are the ones sold at Wal-Mart which is not a wide selection, so I can't see how they feel. Don't believe I have seen the Pro Staff or the C&C.

I got 4 of them and really like them allot.I've had them for two years and just replaced the tip on one of them this year. I'm not easy on equipment!!! I slow troll with 1/8 to 1/4 jig heads, very sensitive. I ordered mine from the factory and had them in two days!
They are a little heavy, but its not a problem for me because I don't hold them, they stay in the rod holder!

I have about 16 if them and I like them. They are designed for trolling with a little heavier weight. I use the BGJP pole for 3/4 or less weights and the C & C for 1oz and heavier weights. They are a little stiffer than the BGJPs. If you are wanting to go with a stiffer pole go with the Pro Staff Trolling poles. It really depends on how you want to fish and how heavy of a weight you want. I am on the BnM prostaff so if you have a problem getting some let me know.
