    Default Good Time

I took my 4 year old granddaughter, my nephew, and his girlfriend to a pond bream fishing yesterday. We used a tube of crickets up in about a hour. Everyone had a ball! I had forgot just how much fun it is to just stand on a bank with just a simple pole rig, no hassling with boats, lines getting tangled up on trolling rigs, no drift socks, chains, trying to figure out what color jig to use, praying we make it back to the ramp when the swells are huge from the 15 to 30 mph winds it seems like we have had every time I have been on Grenada this year. I will be back on the the BIG WATER the first chance I get, but it sure was fun being with those kids, watching them catch those fish, and feeling like a kid myself.

My Dad threw a bunch of hybrid bream in his pond about 8 years ago, the kids and I love to go down and fish. Catching a 1 lb bream is a task in it's self.:D

I notice we didn't get a report as far as numbers and big fish. So........how bad did the 4 year old whoop you? LOL.

Nothing like putting some kids on some fish. And really glad to hear of SOMEBODY catching a fish. I was beginning to think there weren't any left in MS.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

The 4 year old caught 5, my nephew's girlfriend was the one who put a whooping on us. We kept 20 that were nice ones, bigger than my hand, and I have a pretty big hand. We probably caught 50 or 60 smaller ones that we threw back.

There is nothing better for that young'en, that is memories that will stay with them for a long time. Congrats on the catch.
