    Default Headed to Enid!!!

Whats the latest word from Enid this week? Headed up that way in the morning to do a little pre-fishing for our tournament next Saturday. Its been several years since we have fished the lake. I know it has about 10 feet more water then it did last time.

Well the wind blew Saturday but thats what I have chains for. We managed to catch 12 crappie with 6 being over 12 inches. We may have had a pound and half fish but most were pound and a quarter. We only caught one male fish and that was while we were trying the shallows. All the other fish were females that looked spawned out. We threw all the fish back! I'm headed back up there to fish Friday and see if I can narrow down my search!

me and my dad caught 27 keepers sat. morning and nine more that evening. had to go through almost a hundred to get those. fished deep 20-25ft of water with jigs. went to three different spots to look for blacks but ended up with mostly females with eggs. this year has been strange with all the fluctuations. dont be afraid to try a summer pattern.
