Thread: Sardis-Tues. Afternoon

I went trolling after work on tues. at Clear Creek.I caught 20-25 fish but only had one keeper.I was trolling with jigs about 12 ft. deep in 20 ft. of water.The fish were hitting several different colors but when the wind quit blowing the fish quit biting.

I took my Bro-in-Law Monday around the levee side. Fished a few coves around the golf course. Only caught 6, but 3 were keepers. All 3 were girls w/eggs. I guess all the fish are on the Eastern side of the lake. Here's my biggest. 16 inches

Wow! That picture is huge. Maybe someone can clue me in how to downsize

Still with eggs? I fished the south side of lake on Wednesday. I caught 19 but only three keepers. Most were still in shallow water and all males except one female. She had no eggs left and I couldn't find any other females staged out from the males. I caught 6 trolling that day in the morning. Found nothing in less than 17 FOW while trolling...some at 23 FOW. So I caught fish in 4 FOW jigging shallow and 17-23 FOW trolling deep and found no fish in between those depths. I'm not sure what's going on. I guess the males in the shallow water were guarding eggs or eating the fry but I think they're guarding the eggs cause they hammered a jig as soon as I dropped it in.

We caught 5 of those in 17-14 ft of water and the one other in about 10 ft. Crazy fishin this year
