    Default Trolling with StickBaits

Any of yall fish with homemade stickbaits? I use them certain times of the year on Tunica, Desoto, and Whittington lakes.

    Ok, I'm interested :D When I hear stickbait, I'm thinking a
Rapala minnow or Rogue type lure - is this something else?

Yeah, you take a 3/8 wood dowel and cut it to 2 1/2". Put a eye bolt on both ends and hook a treble hook in one end and a spinner blade in the other.

Hope we get to see a picture. Sounds cheaper than bandits at $5 a pop. Speakig of bandits, I went to bass pro and they had a couple of tables of cranks (not bandits but picked some that ran the same depths) on sale for 1.99 and 2.38. Navy and I caught fish on them yesterday. Think I will go back and get 15 or 20 more.

The caretaker of my hunting club lives right across from Rico's on Desoto Lake and he uses the stick baits religiously.

It's about all he uses for trolling and he catches tons of fish on that lake using the stickbaits...
