I wish I could help, Dan, but I'm not one who fishes Sardis a lot. Maybe I can help keep it at the top, with the hopes someone from the Sardis area can jump in with the info you need.Originally Posted by CatchumDeep
I see that the Corp of Engineers opened the discharge to 1300 cfs yesterday now that the lake is only 0.1 ft below rule curve. With some current in the lake again, do you think it will put the crappie back on the brushpiles?
Will this change cause the crappie bite to shutdown for awhile?
Also does anyone know the surface temperature of lake?
Thanks...Dan

If the fish were shallow it will pull them back out to a little deeper water. If you can find a hump or point with a litttle current coming over it should be a good spot. I don't know about water temp but I do plan to do some work on the boat this weekend and put her in the water.I will let you know.
I have not fished since wed. afternoon and I only caught 2 keepers .I will probably fish Sun. morning and I have some friends that might fish tomorrow.I will give you a report.
