I vertical jig only. I use the grizzly jig poles and their brush rod and absolutely love those. Recently bought a b and m bucks best ultra light with the bottom seat mount....now I’m torn...especially if I’m jigging sunrise to sunset.

I have a bunch of reels that can be left or right hand retrieve. On top of the rod or under, doesn't matter. Family members that don't like them this way or that. I fish them the way I like and try to set up some for them.

I guess I'm alone on this but I went thru several different brands until I got a Todd Huckabee pro series and for the last year it has been my go to rod but I can't stand a flimsy rod if I'm jigging and it's by no means flimsy.

Ozarks are all i fish - mainly because of tip strength. You can pooe and prod all over if you get hing up and the tip wont break. I ordered at least 3 BnM tips a year before i converted. Just my two cents.

For single pole fishing ,I think what ever you start with will dictate what you like . I use Sam Heaton rods but just as well have the b/m custom rod(1st rod) .My brother loves the Huckabee rods but he was a b/m brush cutter fan till they went camo . Not sure if the rod changed with the look or not. Put on a low stretch line like p-line(fluorocarbon) and it will make most feel different . You see the word "different" instead of "better" . Ford /Chevy deal .

Is the ACC much lighter than other rods. They post their weight but I can't find the weight of other rods on their websites. I am thinking about a rear seat one for jigging.
