Thread: Mcc having a fall tourney on the Rez

Wish I could. Be in Louisiana Chasing Monsters. Ought to be a great tourney.

Well the Rez sure was stingy to be bragged about its fall fishing. Went down Friday and spent a day in the river. It's some awesome looking stuff up that river a ways. Boat traffic and high winds made it tough fishing. 8 or 9 hrs of playing in the brush and catching 2 crappie and I decided to quit. Saturday I went to the dam. Was choppy first couple hours and around 10 it slicked off to glass. It was on! Couldn't get that big fish they all say the Rez has but got a good mess of 1 to 1.6 lb fish, 30 of em. Weighed 10.26 lbs on the best 7 which was good enough for 7th. We had 51 boats go out Saturday. Mcc is growing every yr. it's not just same ol people. I encourage all of u who have not fished with us to come out and fish atleast 1 event. See y'all on Washington

MCC numbers have been real good, most likely be the biggest year yet!!! Good job Bird, hope to make it to Washington in a few weeks!

Thanks for the info guys! I never knew fish went back to the dam for the fall/winter. One day I would love to fish a couple of these tournaments just to learn more about our Mississippi Lakes.

Not the actual Dam. That's just the term I use for lower end of the lake. Im not familiar with the names of the areas on the lake but we fished a few miles or so out from Madison landing.
