    Default Grenada Lake fishing report?

What are the fish doing on Grenada Lake this week? Are they moving into the shallows? Planning on going this Friday and Saturday. First time to go to this lake.

Water temp was 48 yesterday, couldn't get where I wanted to because of wind, I didn't stay long.

Saturday 03-03 water temp was 51 where I was. Wind blew me off the lake too. Had my young son with me and the wind plus a temp of 35 didn't make for a long trip for me either. Too bad too, had the whole area to myself.

    Default grenada weekend

Had 2 good friends that fished grenada over the weekend at Choctaw landing, and really got them good. Both had half a days fishing on Saturday and each caught 16 to 25 fish in 6-7 feet of water. From what they tell me, they were all real QUALITY fish..............

Default Fished Grenada last Thursday afternoon

I went up to Grenada Lake last Thursday afternoon, March 8. Put in at Torrence landing. I have never fished there but was told that the fish were in 4 ft of water. Caught 1 crappie, missed one and lost one. My first experiance was not that good..

The water in the Lake was very low. Looking at the dam, it looked like it shood have been 30 feet higher.

I am used to fishing the Ross Barnett. If the water drops a couple of feet it is expected, but not 20 or 30 feet.

I will try it again some day, but I think that the water has to rise for me to go back.

Hey slab, I was there Fri afternoon and Sat morning....with the masses. A park ranger told me she counted 220 trucks at Torrence Sat morning....mine included. I guess that is what happens when there are 4 ramps on the whole lake that you can put in at...

Called for it today, but the sun is shining, not a cloud in sight.....go figure.

I guessed it to be aroud 150 trucks, but this girl said she counted them....it was crowded to say the least.
