Hey you gonna post the pics of the fish we caught or are they already in the skillet?
Me and beenfishing went today to Pickensville, AL and had a fair day. I think we caught 17 using a Pullcork and a red/blue/chartruse tube with a red & white jig head.(We didn't even use a minner)
Had lots of fun and made a new friend. I really enjoyed it Beenfishing.

What exactly is a "Pullcork"?

Have not been to the river yet, kind of waiting until we get a report that they have moved into the shallows with the price of an Ala license for us MS guys. How deep were your fish? I'm guessing you were using a jig and slip cork maybe?

No slip cork. We were using a weighted snap-on cork, pulling fairly slow, but constant and fishing bout 3' deep. Your MS license are good all the way to the Pickensville Dam.

Mainly fish below there, Demoplis and have a friend with a camp at Cooks Bend so I'm going to need that Ala. license. Glad to hear they are getting shallow, I use that cork also when they are up. Thanks for the report. Hope to hear from Cooks Bend this week.Originally Posted by Minnerman
