I am from Illinois and my buddy and I are planning a trip to Grenada to crappie fish. Does anybody have a good time frame to go crappie fishing on this lake? Any info would me greatly appreciated.
The last of March and first week of April will be better I think BUT, there's a lot of tournaments that time also, so during the week would be less people.
If you need a room you better start calling now, cause they fill up fast.
Good like to you guy's.

I agree with everything he said.

We were thinking around the time frame of June. If you guys think the other time frame you mentioned would be better I may think about switching. Thanks for the info. Also how much is a week fishing license.
croppiemstr, Call this number to reserve a camping spot 601-432-2400. The
non resident license for a full year is 53.85.
non resident 3 day license is 17.85.
AS far as I know I don't think Ms. as a seven day fishing license, I would be wrong.
June will be much tuffer to fish as you know, March and April is best.
Hope this info helps you guys.

Again, Spider rig man is right on. They can be caught, but they are not as heavy, and a lot tougher. Good campsights, but in June you won't have a problem with a hotel if you want. Bring a fan if you come in june...
