    Default Afternoon trip!

Trace was to low so we went to Davis lake to catch a few tater chips. The bass at Davis sure loved our minners. Caught 11 fish. Kept 6. Few crappie big enough to eat so supplemented with a few bass to have enough for a meal. Did enjoy being on the lake other than motor didn't want to idle. Going to change water filter and see what happens. By the way I didn't get to paint my rod tips white yet so I used the white ribbon. Really made a difference for me.

Most fish we caught were 19 ft in 22 to 23 ft of water.

    Double minner rig.

    Water temp 50

Cool, think you are going to find that the ribbon is going to be easier to see than the painted tips. Stuck that FF in the mail today, sorry I didn't get it off sooner.

Thanks everyone! I think I may keep using the ribbon instead of painting the tips for now.
