Called down to Bell's Store to get a fishin' report and the person told me that she has moved to Alabama. I didn't want to seem nosy and get into more details on the phone, but I was just wondering what happened. I wonder if she retired and moved home? I wonder if this is some of her kin running the store now? I'm gonna miss seeing her.
callem up and tell them you miss her voice and the report and where is she
Last time I was in there was back in Oct. She was not there then. Some younger ladies were taking care of business. I just assumed they were her relatives.
I knew something was wrong last week when I called for a report and the boy said "UHHHHHMMMMMMMMMM Dont know aint talked to know one." I was in shock I jsut knew he was gonna tell me minnows 4ft deep:D
Its Foolish and wrong to morn the men who died, instead we should thank God that such men lived.

Is Bell's store the only good ramp to access that lake? You have to know why I'm asking. Just doesn't leave me with a good feeling. You know....... People leaving, kids taking over, poor decisions down the road, store / ramp closed. There are quite a few lakes with only a couple of public ramps owned by private parties. I know about this kind of stuff. Still having the shakes over losing Flower. I have killed some crappie up there. Makes me wonder. Anybody know if any of those trailer spots on Bee are for sale. After a while we are all going to have to own land by the lake in order to fish the lake.

Hey, Wannabe. Want to finance the purchase of a bait shop and ramp on Bee by C.Com members? The state is broke and can't afford the purchase of another 20 year lease on a piece of property for a ramp on the lake. The home could be rented out, and the bait shop and ramp could generate enough cash flow to make payments. What a deal.
I miss me some Flower as well. It was/mabey still is one of the best lakes I have ever fished. I saw an old lady there when I was a kid who had been out in a rental Jon boat with only a sculling paddle and had 2 Crappie that looked to be over 4 lbs. each and she said she had lost one that was bigger because it broke her cane pole. Those blue holes made for some great catches.
Yep, both blue holes produced. I did well in the bar pits too. I know about those old ladies in those j-boats as well. I think they would win the most and biggest fish awards every time we were there and all they did was paddle out, park, bait up a few poles and watch corks all day in one or two spots.
