Thread: On the rez 11-12-09

I fished the WHOLE day and would up with only one keeper. At lease I did catch about a dozen all together. Proof you say?

This first is prep the night before.



next is a huge bass.



this is my first keeper. A slab indeed. Almost 14". Over 1.5lbs.



Rigged two poles with slip corks for minnows & two poles for jigs. After a couple hours, took the jigs off & tightlined with minnows. Finally caught some crappie.:D

Whats the telescope used for? Cant see fishes underwater with that can ya? lol

And MAJ...CONGRATULATIONS! The bug is now upon you. If you ain't gonna catch but one keeper that is a good one to catch. That my friend qualifies for slab status (in my book anyway)

Oh, I ain't to worried about that bridge just yet. Gate with a pad lock go on in when it gets about 15 degrees colder!!!
