Farmers in the delta regions affected by Arky, Sardis, Enid, and Grenada drainage, are being told that the COE will begin a "controlled flood" water release from all four lakes within a couple of weeks.
The lakes are normally at minimum winter pool by Dec. 1, and ready to receive any winter and spring rains. With all the fall rain, the lakes are currently 50-70% full, and have little room for a major rain event.
This means that all the spillways will be running at max. discharge, and the main lakes will probably be falling around .5' daily unless major rain occurs. Obviously, this will drastically alter both the current main lake and spillway fishing.
I hope it does drastically alter the main lake fishing in grenada it stinks right now.
Stick yo jig in there!
