Guess the big fish were hiding though with under 10 pounds winning it. Still a great day it looks like!!

It was a great day of fishing but the big fish were hard to come by. I'm not sure what caused the bite to go South Saturday! There were great reports leading up to tournament day. The only thing I can figure is the boat traffic caused the fish to move. There were 40 boats in our tournament and another 3o in a Team Trails bass tournament. There were reports of fish being caught as shallow as 6 inches around structure but the constant boat waves to the bank put a end to that. We had 38 teams out of 40 come to the scales and only 2 teams didn't have a 7 fish limit.

I see them Lowry boys take ya'lls money on a regular basis too.

Our fish moved fron 6-8 FOW to 17 FOW after the bass boys started zooming. No lie, had one bass boat come buy us running 60+ 6 different times.... Was all but ridiculous. We cuaght a bunch of em, but just not big enough.

We located some slabs prefishing but they were gone on T day. Then all the leaves on the surface made it almost impossible to long line. But thats fishing!!!!!!

Yep DD been working everyday for a month up untill last sat..

Bo there was a ton of trash on the surface wasn't it! I shook more stuff off our poles then I ever have. Didn't bother the fish tho.
