    Default Eagle Lake limits

I know Mississippi has a 30 fish limit but I read that you can keep 50 at the oxbows, is that correct? Oh, BTW, anyone else get a text and picture from Feelay?

Don unless it has changed the limit is 30. It was 50 back in the 80's when I first started fishing there then dropped down to 30 sometime in the 90's. I have not been down there in about 3 years.

According to the recent copy of Mississippi Outdoor Digest...the statewide limit on crappie ( combined white and black) is 30. 20 per day on the big four ( Grenada, Arkabutla, Enid, and Sardis).

You can keep the limit that is higher on lakes that share borders. IE: Tunica, Arkansas limit is 50, therefore you can keep 50 on this lake.

Not all of Arkansas is 50. West AR is 20 East AR is 30.But here is the kicker, between the main levees of the Mississippi River and on Horseshoe Lake (Crittenden County), the daily crappie limit is 50. So it just depends on where you are as to what the limit is.

Default Guess I can ask the people at the Store when I

get my minners Saturday morning to make darn sure. Just got back from Propeller Service AGAIN. Had to buy another TM cable. Seems since my foot control is screwed down to the deck of my boat, something about the angle of it to the TM causes it to crimp and thusly BREAK. Used that sucker 1 time of hard fishing and SNAP
