Thread: Wolf Lake weekend report

Went to Wolf Saturday morning. I wasn't expecting much with the heavy rains Friday night and post cold front conditions. I went more or less to check out the water level/color. The water is high and stained. It isn't as muddy as I have seen it in the past but definitely has some color to it. Well to my surprise the fish were biting. We caught 20 or so fish. Most were dinks but we would have had a decent 7 fish stringer. Others in the club had similar success stories. I saw several guy's catches and some had some real nice Wolf lake Crappie. I hope I saved my best fish for this Saturday. Come on out and join the fun I believe the Wolf Lake tournament will be a good one!

I hope to catch some of those Wolf slabs this weekend!! Wannabe, you could come take some pic.s of some crappie it should be some slabs caught!!! You guys it will be a blast come give it a shot.
