Here's a pic of the slide I was talking about. 15" is $25.95 from Grizzly Jig. Didn't see it on Monk's site, although he may be able to get it for ya.
On the front Deck. Don't think you'll miss what is behind the pedestals much unless you want additional storage. But having F&F do something to extend it would be a very good choice.
