Default Wolf Lake Water Level Report

There has been some concern regarding the water level for the upcoming MCC tournament. I talked to the biologist that over sees Wolf last night. He had recently been to check on the lake. he said there were no plans to close the public ramp on Hwy 149. He felt confident we would have NO ISSUES using the ramp next weekend. He was aware of the forecast rains for the next few days and said it would take 12 inches before it was even considered for closing. I realize the lake will not be at the best level and the fishing will be tough, but once again who would have thought October would be the wettest month of the year. The conditions will be the same for all. I believe after the week of good weather fore casted for next week the fishing will get better! I know I'm going to catch me some of them slabs!!! See you at Wolf.

Looks like you guys are snake bit when it comes to geting some decent fishing conditions to get your new season started. Hopefully the nice forcasted weather next week will turn them on and you will get a good turnout.

    Good luck everyone.
