2 bank will charge only 1 battery(tm battery) a 4 bank will charge 2 battery (tm and cranking battery). I use only 2 bank b/c the alternator on the cranking battery charges it everytime the cranking battery is running.
Its Foolish and wrong to morn the men who died, instead we should thank God that such men lived.

I would get the two bank charger, because if you don't run your outboard too much, your cranking battery may run down over time from accessories(DF, livewell, Etc.) operating. This charger will keep your trolling motor and cranking batteries hot.
I use a two bank charger because I have two batteries....one for the trolling motor and one to start the outboard. If I had three batteries I would have a three bank, etc., etc. With my trolling motor battery as well as my cranking battery on the charger....I do not have to worry about them getting low in cold weather and maybe freezing etc. It just makes good sense to put every battery in the boat on a bank on a onboard charging system.
