    Default Summer cold fronts?

What do guys think these fronts do to the fish in the summer? I had a couple of slow days fishing this w/end after this last little front came through and I'm looking for a good excuse, couldn't just be me, right? The air and water temps are down a little and of course we have high pressure and that pesky NE wind. Do ya'll think that would drive the fish up a little shallower this time of year or just shut them off for a few days?

My guess is the initial response is to slow or shut off, then push slightly shallower and turn back on with a vengence.

Let me know if I got it right and what I win for the correct answer.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.

He won ten pounds of dog food and my neighbor's dog.

We had 51 for a low and 73 for highs most of the last three days (Fri/Sat/Sun) and my honey hole for crappie tured into a hiney hole.lol I managed four 12" crappie, a dozen or so nice gills, and caught 12 bass 9-12" that went into my pond. The bass that is. All were caught on minners. They wouldn't even look at a jig or a crank bait. This could be different for me though, cause it was a 5 A pond/lake, not a big body of water.

I fished this weekend, and I proved that I can still fish as well as anyone. I also proved that, beyond a doubt, I'm the worst crappie catcher alive! WB had fish at MY boat landing, but I didn't have any fish at MY boat landing! I gave up sunday afternoon and went and sat on the bank by my torn down bridge and caught 7 nice catfish. I may not know nothing about no stinking crappie but I can catch catfish from dusk till dawn! And yes, I can also plow a field all day long!

It did feel nice out pstone, I'll give you that. Gar - I think we were on a 1/4 moon, should have had major periods coinciding with dawn and dusk somewhat.

Same story here, heard all week about "tearin dem up" at Chotard. The guy I fished with had limited out last weekend before 11 o'clock. We fished from sunup till 5 o'clock and ended up with 25 between the both of us. I did however land a big ole spoonbill on a 12 foot jigpole. More fish were caught on minners, but the bigger fish were caught on jigs.
