Well, I've been wishing I had a gooseneck hitch in my truck for awhile now,
and it seemed like good a time as any since I already had the bed off.
I looked at Dad's B&W turnover in his truck, and liked the concept but
wasn't real impressed with the hitch considering what they cost...
So, I ended up taking a spare ball Dad gave me and building the rest myself.
Milling, boring, drilling, welding:
And finished and on the truck. Now I've still got to cut the hole in the bed
for it, sounds easier than building the hitch, but I dread it more.
One mis-whack, and it shows forever

Good looking work. Wish I wasn't so tool challenged.
Nice job.

Golly J, I had no idea you were so handy with machine tools. And it's pretty obvious you know your way around a truck too. Guess I'm gonna have to start being a lot nicer to you now.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
