    Default Cabins on Grenada Lake

I am thinking about coming down to fish Grenada and saw there are some cabins at the state park. How are these? I am not looking for 5 stars just some place clean. Also how bad of a zoo is the lake on Memorial day weekend?

They are nice cabins I stayed down there last year . They fill up quickly so better make your resv early.

Some are newer than others, but all of them won't ick out your wife. None are the Taj Mahal, but generally pretty well kept.

Memorial can be hectic around the ramps and the open part of the lake, but once you get to the timber on either end of the lake or back deep in the coves, you're pretty well left alone. Not a lot of jet skis on Grenada for some reason which is a big plus for the lake IMO.

Stayed three nights this week. Cabins are old but clean. My wife was good with it, and they were only 50 bucks a night. I'll be staying there again.

I was passing thru that area a couple of weeks ago and stopped in for one night. If you want a radio and TV you might better bring your own.

Better watch out for the wild life. I was loading up the car to start my trip home and when I turned around to go back in there were three deer standing under the oak tree next to the cabin.

Thanks guys, I am mostly down there to fish all day and then sleep and repeat. Yep most ramps are usually pretty crazy but get there early and hopefully not have any trouble. Anyone want to give me any points on catching any fish? Can I dip trees or am I going to have troll?
